The Joyful Ringers

The Joyful Ringers is a non-profit group of 11 dedicated seniors who meet weekly at St. John’s Anglican Church in Bancroft to make music with a three-octave set of handbells. With a smaller ensemble for those eager to rehearse twice a week, the group shares their love of music through biannual concerts supporting the church’s “open hearts open doors” project, as well as performances at local churches, seniors’ residences, and community events.
The Art Gallery of Bancroft

Nestled in the heart of Bancroft, Ontario, the Art Gallery of Bancroft (AGB) is a vibrant, volunteer-driven hub for local and regional creativity. For over four decades, this not-for-profit gallery has showcased the talent of artists and artisans through monthly exhibitions, an annual juried show, and a gift shop brimming with unique handmade works, all sustained entirely through community support and fundraising.
Bancroft & Area Studio Tour

Discover the Bancroft and Area Studio Tour, a cherished annual event held over the last two weekends of September. For more than three decades, artists have opened their doors to welcome visitors into their creative spaces — from lakeside studios to hilltop galleries, showcasing an inspiring range of local talent at the height of the fall colours.
North Hastings Music Festival

The North Hastings Music Festival has been nurturing musical talent in Bancroft and the surrounding area for over 66 years. Dedicated to providing an enriching educational experience for amateur musicians, the festival has helped countless participants pursue further studies and professional music careers — from teachers and touring performers to band members, private instructors, and even military musicians.
Bancroft Art & Craft Guild

Hosts a summer show with over 20 vendors, live music and food vendors. It is a highlight of the year on the Civic weekend and attracts hundreds of visitors to the area.
The Mineral Capital Concert Committee

Provides summer concerts in the park every July and August. Concerts are free, sponsored by local businesses, municipalities and service groups, allowing musicians and sound tech to be paid. Crowds range from 300-500 nightly with food sales and 50/50 draws raising thousands of dollars for local not-for-profits.
A Place for the Arts

A vibrant venue that provides a platform for over 40 artists to showcase their diverse talents. Thousands of art lovers and visitors come every year to see, enjoy, and buy art, supporting both talented artists and the community’s economy.
The North Hastings Community Band

Composed of approximately 50 musicians across many demographics – from high school students to senior citizens, across the North Hastings area. The NHCB plays a significant role in helping mentor junior musicians and provides an opportunity for like-minded community members to meet each other, form bonds, and strengthen the community.
The North Hastings Community Choir

A four-part Choral Group gathering in Bancroft weekly to sing for the sheer joy of singing. Their mission is to share this joy with the Community by performing two recitals per year, one that celebrates the Christmas Season and the other in early Spring.
