Remember those moments in your life where art inspired you, touched your emotions and produced in you a feeling of passion or power? It may have even brought out your own talent. If so, you know that art takes time. It is made up of an instant of inspiration, a second of emotion, a flash of passion, minute of power, hours of hard work, and a lifetime of talent – talent that needs nurturing and hard work that needs supporting.

Supporting the AAC as a Donor

You may choose to support the AAC as a DONOR. When you become a donor, you will receive a charitable donation receipt for the full amount of your contribution. Donations can be made by cheque, e-transfer to info@algonquinarts.ca, or online. We are registered with CanadaHelps for individual donations, and Benevity for corporate employee giving campaign donations. Individual donations can be one time, recurring, or you can even donate securities.

Your donation helps support the arts in North Hastings and allows the AAC to to realize our mandate.
Donor levels: Patron $50, Friend $100, Benefactor $200 and Corporate Sponsor $350.

Want to support one of the AAC’s Contributing Members directly? You can do that too! Donate directly to any of our Contributing Member Groups via cheque, e-transfer to info@algonquinarts.ca or online by navigating to our AAC CanadaHelps donation page, and where you see “Apply your donation to a fund set up by this charity*” select from the drop down list to direct your donation.

How Your Support Helps
The AAC is supported through Charitable Donations, proceeds from AAC sponsored events and fundraising. Your contributions help fund the shared administrative costs of the Contributing Member Arts Groups as well as AAC initiatives such as the AAC Youth Arts Award. Your contribution directly supports  AAC member artists and arts groups, allowing them to bring you the quality arts events that you have come to expect and enjoy.
