North Hastings Community Band (NHCB): NHCB’s focus is on music performance – sharing the joy of music across our community, both with our audience and with ourselves as musicians. The band is comprised of approximately 50 musicians across many demographics – from high school students to senior citizens, and everything in between. Members reside across the North Hastings area. We meet Monday evenings at North Hastings High School for rehearsals, and have a comprehensive repertoire suitable for many different events. The NHCB plays a significant role in helping mentor the junior musicians, particularly important to help mitigate the impacts of the Covid years. Last but not least, the NHCB provides an opportunity for like-minded community members to meet each other, form bonds, and strengthen our community.

In 2025 we have had two performances (so far): Bancroft Relay for Life, and our Spring Concert at the Bancroft Village Playhouse. Both events were very well attended, and contribute to our goal of sharing music with our community.
